"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one"

Welcome to the world of a dreamer...a person who is heavily influenced by music, a person who loves looking at things with a simplistic outlook. I am a big fan of The Beatles.

About Me

My photo
I am a dreamer, procrastinator, last-minute worker. Music is my passion--I am an obsessive music collector. Often I collect gigabytes of music only with the hope to listen to'em "someday". I like writing, reading, and I also cherish to learn to play the guitar someday...

Beatlemania!

The draft was written on Thursday, 28th April. Let me conclude the story:
Today I went to the computer market at Agargaon, IDB building. It was a quick decision. In the morning I felt the need for a portable Mp3 player, and by 5 PM, I had browsed through all the Zen's, Muvo's and Nomad's. I got outta office early, and went there with Tawfiq bhai. After a lot of dilly dallying, I decided to buy the 256 MB Muvo TX..which'd cost me a big fortune. Some 10k bucks...no joke :s...but I must say, the temptation was too big to resist. I just got paid 2 days back, and I was all full of spirit. But then God decided to intervene.

I was told that the 256 MB thing would have alcaline bettery inside, which can be charged via USB port. But that was not the scenario. The thing needed to be ran by 1 AAA battery, and that mechanism will never give me a hassle free experience. Using regular batteries would be too costly, and I would have to go to Stadium Market for buying rechargeable batteries and a charger. Even if I did go to the stadium, the pain will sustain--in the form of overnight recharging and stuff. So....I didn't buy it.

I just saved 10 grands....yahooo! Allah Ja Kore, Bhalor Jonnei Korey :D

But my journey did not go in vain. There's this large DVD/CD shop in IDB, called Ryan's. I found:

Let It Be ....Naked
Back In The U.S.
Here Comes The Sun: A Tribute to The Beatles
The Beatles "Let It Be" (DVD)
So the journey wasn't bad, was it? The third item, the tribute album, is a marvel. I couldn't find any info on that album in amazon.com. From what's written on the CD cover, I came to know that three guitarists played the beatles songs, as instrumentals, using various styles and instruments. Those who know me personally knows how crazy I am about Beatles. I literally jumped up, when I found the Back in the U.S. DVD, featuring Paul McCartney, and I wasn't less happy when I found the tribute album. I came back home, and I loved the things I bought.
On the next morning, "All My Loving" being performed by Paul McCartney (with footages of the Beatles's US tour in the 60s being shown on the widescreen) brought tears in my eyes. That was totally unexpected, and I had to use Alt+F4 in order to "not cry". Since then, I used the nick "I am Fab-ulously addicted" for 3 straight days; at MSN.
The Beatles was also called the "Fab 4" or the fabulous four. And yeah, Beatles is not Beetles, and hence they have no connection with the insects. Period.
I can write about the Beatles, forever. But I'll listen to them instead :)
Adios
